Squirrels
A short, informal, fun time for all preschool children (however young), together with their parents and carers.
This takes place in St Paul's Church on the second Wednesday of each month, during term time, from 2.15pm.
Our time together includes a bible story, a craft activity and the Squirrels song & prayer. We end with a musical procession and drinks and biscuits.
Junior Church
Junior Church is held on the first and third Sunday of each month (during term time) starting in St Paul's School hall at 9.45 am.
Through stories, activities and prayer our aim is to help the children get to know Jesus. Also, so that we can all share in what they have been learning, they join the main congregation for the last part of the church service.
Children should therefore be collected from church at about 11.15am. All children aged 4 - 9 years are welcome. [More]
Choir
Boys and girls over the age of 7, as well as adults are always very welcome to join the existing choir members. They meet on Tuesdays to practice from 7.30 to 8.30pm in the church. No auditions required - only the ability to read fluently.
Bellringers
St. Paul's has 6 bells that are rung regularly for Sunday services. This peculiarly English art is suitable for all over the age of 11 (no upper limit!) and new recruits are always being sought, whether with experience or none, as full training is given.
Wednesday is practice night (7.30 pm) but a full programme of events is enjoyed by this lively band of ringers. [More]
