FLORAL FETE 2006
The floral fete for this year has been the most successful fundraiser so far making in excess of £4000. Monies still to be included are from the Concert Quiz, the Rugby shirt and raffle of the Grove prize. WE hope to have a final total within a few weeks
However the true success of any event is surely that it was an enjoyable and happy day for everyone, and this certainly appeared to be the case for everyone who attended.
Therefore a huge thank you to everyone who contributed in any way with expertise or just plain hard work. Also we would like to thank everyone who came to view, partake or just to spend.
It would be remiss of us not to mention John and Thelma Boxall who yet again threw open their lovely home and garden for the fete and refreshments. We would also like to mention Mavis Entwhistle along with her hard bunch of loyal supporters who planned and executed an excellent plan to ensure the whole events went off like clockwork.
Once again thank you to everyone who helped in making this our best year yet. Well done to you all.
